Tsk-Tsk!
Shame on me for being so flakey... I've been here, reading other people's blogs, just happy to see how the other folks are living their lives. My own life just doesn't seem to have that sort of blogworthiness that I associate with posting online. Perhaps, today is the day that changed all that...
I discovered TWO wonderful things in my garden. Well, one was actually horrible and the other was more scintillating - but wonderful none-the-less! The first was the discovery of a Stinkhorn Octopus Mushroom. Upon first sight, I swore that they were some horrid creatures hatching out of eggs and I was determined to call animal control to come identify and tag these wild creatures. Mushrooms. Who knew a freakin mushroom could look so insanely monster like!

The scintillating discovery? June bugs having (umm) relations in the grass. My four-year-old was the one who found them and she was so surprised to find two of them and why are they so close together and why is that one on top and why are they hissing at each other?? I'm not ready to answer any of those questions, mostly because I don't know all the answers right now. However, we did watch the whole thing and we even took pictures. Van Nuys is STILL the porn capitol of the world!!
